Job-hunting and Work Experience
Please note that World English cannot guarantee that you will find a job or that you will enjoy the job that you find!
If you have a Working Holiday visa you can study English full-time for up to 4 months in one school, and/or work full- or part-time for up to 6 months with one employer within a 12-month period.
If you have a student visa, you are permitted to work part-time have up to 20 hours per week. World English expects to be able to enroll student visa holders soon.
- Give you access to a computer and printer to print your CV and an application letter
- Give you a sample curriculum vitae and a sample application letter, and correct one draft of your Curriculum Vitae and application letter
Suggest some places where you might look for a job- Act as a referee on your behalf for up to 3 employers
World English also offers an unpaid Work Experience Programme of four weeks or more. The placement fee for this programme starts at $249. Participants must be at WE Level 5 or higher, and must study for at least three weeks in the school full-time before starting their work experience programme. Please ask us for further information.
