Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of visa should I get?
You can get either a Visitors' visa, a Working Holiday visa or a Student Visa. The Visitors' visa is cheapest and easiest to get, but it's usually only for 3-6 months and you can only study up to 3 months. The Working Holiday visa allows you to stay for a year, but you can only study for 4 months and work for 6 months at a time, and there are some age limits. Some students can come on Visitor or Working Holiday visas. This applies to those from many European countries, Japan, and some South American countries. Students must obtain a Student visa before coming to Australia.

What kind of accommodation should I book?
Most of our students choose "homestay" because it's not expensive, allows you to practise your English by living with an Australian family, you get breakfast and dinner cooked for you and on weekends all meals are prepared for you. Australian homes are, on average, more spacious than European or Japanese homes, but you must be ready to adapt to the family's culture and habits! Most students are very happy with their homestay family. You can also stay at our 3-star on-campus residence. A single room, with TV, bar fridge, air conditioning, private bathroom, phone and tea/coffee-making facilities costs only A$75-$95 per day.
